“What Business is the Church In?”

Text: Matthew28:16-20

Introduction: Any organization, institution, or business justifies it’s existence only insofar as it carries out the purpose for which it was founded.

 

    I.      Jesus set forth His power.

            - Matthew 7:29

            - Luke 22:53

            - Matthew 16:18

II. Jesus Set Forth His Brand.

            - “Therefore Go”

            - Luke 19:10

            - “Arise and go into the desert” (Acts 8:26)

            - “Look, here is the water” (Acts 8:36)

            - Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Acts 8:20)

III. Jesus set forth His promise.

            - “I am with you”

            - What are you willing to do?

 

Today is the day, you can become a member of God’s forever family, and a member of His church!
