“Our Help Comes from the Lord”

Text: Mark 1:40-42

Scripture Reading: Philippians 4:13;19

Introduction: People need help, and our Lord is in the help-giving business. Jesus explained his coming into the world by saying,

“I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

(John 10:10)

IF I WERE THE DEVIL...

I. There are people who need the Lord and don't know it.

-  What do you need more than anything else in the world?

-  Saul of Tarsus

II. There are people who need the Lord and are only

subconsciously aware of it.

- Nicodemus, was a man who lived in the time of Jesus.

- Jesus is interested in helping people find their way in life.

-

III. There are people who need the Lord and never expect

to find it.

- Zacchaeus, was a man who lived in the time of Jesus.

- The Samaritan woman never expected help!

- People need to know Jesus!

IV. There are people who need help and sincerely seek it.

- Being aware of people who are searching.

- What is your story?
