“Our Church and its Witness”

Text: Acts 4:20

Scripture Reading: Acts 1:1-8

Introduction: This Sunday, let us look at the New Testament church in Acts for parallels as to what motivated this church under the leadership of the Holy Spirit

    I.     They believed that people needed Jesus.

              - They believed the claims Jesus. He had said he was the son of God and Savior.

              - They knew what Jesus had done for them.

              - They had no illusions about an easy, passive life without frustrations and problems.

II.     They communicated the Good News with boldness and consistency

              -

              -

III.     They were possessed with the love of Jesus and shared it with everyone

              -

              -

The New Testament church is a group of people bound together by the power of the love of Christ, who are possessed by a divine compulsion to share this Good news with as many people as they can as fast as they can!
