“Freedom from Sin”

Text: Luke 19:10

Introduction: The MISSION of JESUS into this world in human form was primarily in the interest of lost men and women, boys, and girls.                               

 

I.          Jesus Loves the Sinner in Spite of Sin.

                    A. John 10:30

                    B. Luke 23:34

                    C. Jesus is Holy and loves us.

                    D. Jesus is just, He will punish sin!

    

      II.          Jesus Lifts the Sinner out of Sin.

                         

                    A. John 12:32

                    B. Sin is powerful.

                    C. We must be willing to be lifted.

                    D. Christ is more powerful than sin.

     

     III.         Jesus Leads the Sinner Away from Sin.                          

                    A.   I John 2:6

                    B.   What a marvelous Savior!

                    C.   Set free from sin.

                  

               Lessons for all of us!              

                    1.   Christ is intensely interested in you as an individual.

                    2.   He offers you the only avenue of escape from sin.  

                    3.   You must accept it while He offers it.

                    4.   What you do is a matter of individual choice.
