“The Joy that Follows Repentance”

Text: Luke 15:7

Scripture Reading:   Luke 15: 1-24

Introduction:   Repentance is a radical change of attitude about God and toward God that is made possible by the gospel of Jesus Christ, in which the goodness of God is revealed.

I.      The joy of heavenly beings because of repentance.  

     A. The angels rejoice.

     B. The heart of the Father God rejoices.

     C. The heart of God the Son rejoices– Why?

     D. The Holy Spirit rejoices-Because!

     E. The redeemed rejoices who have already entered into the place Jesus called “Paradise.”

II. The joy of the one repenting.
