“Building a New Life in a New Year”

Text: Matthew 7: 24                   

 Scripture Reading: Matthew 7: 24-29

Introduction: What spiritual truths can we learn from a common occurrence from Jesus’ day?

1. Consider the site.

   3. Remember that the easiest place to build is not always the best.
   4. Remember that the most attractive plot is not always the best.
2. Build on a solid foundation.
   1. Live the harmonious life (Matthew 5: 1-16).
   2. Possess Christian righteousness (Matthew 5: 20-48).
   3. Live a righteous life with a consciousness of the presence of God.
   4. Let your life be dedicated to the laying up of heavenly treasures (Matthew 6:19).
   5. Treat fellow humans with respect.

8. Let us resolve to faithfully witness to the unsaved!
